2016 EVENTS


08/11  Northeast Emergency Managers Conference; Providence, Rhode Island.  Barry Carr, Coordinator, CC of CNY will be making a presentation on a new tool being created with the help of our Coalition on identifying available alternative fueled vehicles that could be used in disaster planning.


08/29 - 09/01  CC of CNY will be chairing panels at the annual Coordinator retreat at Oak Ridge Labs in Knoxville, TN


09/7 - 09/09:  Barry Carr, Coordinator will be participating in the annual Natural Gas Vehicles Conference in Denver, CO.

September 14th:  Join CC of CNY at the inaugural NYS Parks Fleet Conference in Jones Beach, NY
September 19th:  Alt Wheels; the largest gathering of alternative fueled vehicles in the Northeast will be held in Natick, MA.  CC of CNY will co-host with 11 other Northeast Coalitions.

2/7-2/10: CC of CNY will participate in the annual Transportation Energy Partners (TEP) event in Washington, DC.  This is an annual event that includes networking with other DOE Clean Cities Coordinators, gathering funding information from the US DOE, DOT, HUD, and FHA; along with Hill visits where we go as a group and inform our representatives about the great things Clean Cities does!  For more information; please visit:  www.transporationenergypartners.org

2/11: Buffalo International Auto Show. Barry Carr, Coordinator, Clean Communities of CNY will be making a presentation on available natural gas vehicle platforms.  The event is open to the public, come out and learn about this inexpensive, American alternative fuel, and vehicles that you can order directly from dealers that operate on natural gas.

3/1 - 3/4: The National Truck Equipment Association/Green Truck Summit (www.NTEA.org) in Indianapolis, IN.  Barry Carr, Coordinator, Clean Communities of CNY will be presenting.

5/2 - 5/5: The Advanced Clean Transportation Annual Conference (www.actexpo.com) in Long Beach, CA. Barry Carr, Coordinator, Clean Communities of CNY will be presenting.

August 2013: NYSERDA PON 2755 Electric Vehicle-Enabling Technology Demonstration Program: This solicitation will seek to demonstrate new technologies and strategies that help make EVs more desirable for consumers and more economically viable while lowering their impact on the electric grid and environment.

10/22:  Join CC of CNY and other Northeast Coalitions for the 6th “Alt Wheels” Conference in Norwood, MA.  There will be a variety of vehicle exhibits, including an ride and drive.  Barry Carr, representing stakeholder BAF will be speaking about the benefits of natural gas vehicles; the event is free to the public.

10/6:  CC of CNY Quarterly Meeting; including a meeting of our EV Stakeholders Group at Destiny’s Community Room.  Join us for the “EV Challenge” races in the mall parking lot.

10/5:  NGV America Annual Meeting and Fleet Conference, Shaumburg, Illinois
